In the end all 4 MOU’s for EAA voted in favor of the new contract to reduce furlough hours but end up paying more for benefits.

LA City can’t provide the service it does with employees on furloughs, and it certainly doesn’t save as much money as it would had it more then doubled the furlough days on EAA, So What Gives?

Inside source’s say a bad faith promise to protect EAA from decertification forcing employees to stay with a union they no longer want to be in along with giving inexperienced so called union  leaders the impression they were getting favorable treatment led to EAA throwing out the previous vote allowing the CAO to Violate bargaining provisions, and make empty threats to scare the members.

EAA Was USED, Used to proclaim to the media and to the public the false statements that for the first time ever employees were paying for their health care.

Mayor Satan and his band of cronies were quick to thank EAA Union for carrying out their evil plan and you guessed it calling on all of the other unions to pay their share.

What EAA members were kept in the dark about was the ERB hearing taking place Monday in which the ERB board declared that Mr. Santana was out of line in calling an impasse and was out of luck increasing members health care.

So it looks like EAA members were used for the purpose of City Hall and will in 12 months time find themselves fighting alone.  NO DWP Parity, Increases in Health care, No raises, NO Cost Of Living Increases, NOTHING.

When given the chance to Stand with the workers of this city or with the CAO who is working non stop at crushing the unions in this city EAA’s inexperienced leaders choose to make a deal with the devil and sell out the few remaining members it has left and the rest of the workforce.
