Employees of the City of LA are prohibited from drinking on the job, but employees are allowed an unrestricted lunch period in which they may do anything which is legal, attending a strip-club may be immoral to some but they are licensed tax paying businesses and they should be treated no differently then any other business if an employee wishes to spend his UNPAID uncompensated lunch time contributing to the tax base they should be allowed to do so.

Drinking and driving, they will get the same exact treatment options the CAO did or they will get paid bigtime in a civil lawsuit.

Furthermore the LAPD spends nearly a million dollars of tax payer money visiting these establishments to conduct  “undercover operations”. On more then one account have LAPD officers been asked to leave for lewd behaviour they themselves are there to allegedly investigate so spare me the taxpayer money issue

Eric Garcetti & Dennis Zine voted to raise our Water & Power bill just to please the IBEW.

They catered to the Mayor, and they ignored the City Attorney assigned to council chambers when he clearly gave his valid legal opinion stating that this was no emergency and they had to review it.

Instead they mocked the rule of law and approved higher rates for all of Los Angeles just to cater to the DWP who got a 20% raise making them the highest paid city workers in LA, and the among the highest paid utility workers in the nation.

I thought we were in a recession? I thought we were out of money? Until the council shook out their coat pockets and ‘found’ 30 million.

All of this goes to prove the point LA City Workers have been saying all along, you have money you just cater to a few and want the hard working civilians to foot the bill.

It really is a shame because this behavior only solidifies the position that civilian workers will refuse any givebacks of any kind in any manner we did our part and you gave DWP a raise, among hundreds of other missteps.
